MAX Volleyball by Rise Adventure & Wellness Solutions recognizes that there are times in a players’ development when they require the individualized attention necessary to allow them to achieve their full potential. Each player develops skills independently and experience individual growth in their game at different times. The MAX Volleyball program by Rise Adventure & Wellness Solutions will enhance players’ existing strengths and address their technical weaknesses in a low pressure environment while improving their overall confidence with the ball through repetition.

Offering a variety of development options to the Victoria and Vancouver Island Volleyball community is our primary focus.

Registration includes 8 – 120 minute (90 minutes for Novice) MAX Volleyball Skills development sessions with one of our talented coaches. (All of our coaches are certified with the Volleyball Canada NCCP program as well as certified in First Aid, CPR, and AED)

MAX Volleyball sessions will be hosted at a few different venues (due to availability)

We strive to offer professional, personalized, elite level training. To ensure we deliver the best results possible, our Small Group sessions are from 4-6 athletes.

Private Volleyball Training - Rise Adventure & Wellness Solutions - MAX Volleyball Victoria

Private/Semi-Private Training Sessions

These sessions are customized to the needs and schedule of the athlete. Sessions are intensive and provide the maximum learning environment. The private training sessions can be for one athlete or even two when the athletes’ skill levels can complement each other. Single athlete training is best for refining skills, learning new skills, getting more repetitions or solving athlete specific problems. Sessions for two athletes are geared to those who need to work in tandem for on-court success (ex. setter and middle hitter), or for two athletes who need to work on similar skills (ex. two right-side hitters). Athletes should be of similar skill level in order to take advantage of this situation.  NOTE:  Our private coaching sessions includes 55-85 minutes of on-court training along with 5 minutes of off-court dialogue and feedback to accommodate the next scheduled athlete who needs to begin his/her warm-up. Small Group Training Sessions

These sessions bring four to six athletes together to work on a variety of fundamental or advanced skills. Sessions deliver intense customized training based on the needs of the group and the individual participants.  Lasting from 120-180 minutes in length, these intensive training sessions maximize the opportunity for quality reps.  NOTE:  Our Small Group Training Session fees include all equipment, gym rentals, coach’s fees, and insurance.

Specialized Large Group Clinics/Camps

These clinics deliver volleyball instruction for athletes. The sessions will be for larger groups of 12-30 athletes of all skill levels. Each clinic focuses on the one or more of the major skills needed to learn and play volleyball. Athletes may register for clinics which will be applicable to their present skill levels. Additionally we will be glad to design and structure clinics for specific needs of a club, group or team.

“MAX Volleyball in your Gym” – Team Training

Team training is available for athletes inside or outside of the Greater Victoria area. A minimum of two hours of training is typically provided by one MAX Volleyball Coach in the home facility of the Team requesting the training. For out of town training, mileage and meals may have to be factored into the training fees. Please contact us for additional details.
